7. Summary of results

This test is recommended by NAFEMS (but with a different type of mesh).

Both models give very satisfactory results, the maximum difference obtained is 0.003%.

For modeling PLAN, despite the non-symmetry of the mesh, we note that the temperature at the nodes (observation points) belonging to TRIA3 and QUAD4 is identical.

The radiation limit condition was imposed via a non-linear flow loading (flux as a function of temperature). In this test, the radiation is completely taken into account.

This test made it possible to test the AFFE_CHAR_THER_F command (associated with the FLUX_NL operand which makes it possible to assign a non_linear flow) in the case of PLAN and 3D models.
