**Summary**

This test involves a square plate with a straight through crack, subject to a temperature gradient. A heat exchange takes place between the lips of the crack (keyword factor ECHANGE_PAROI of operators AFFE_CHAR_THER and AFFE_CHAR_THER_F [:ref:`U4.44.02 <U4.44.02>`]).

Three models are considered:


* modeling :math:`A`: :math:`\text{FEM}\mathrm{2D}` (mesh crack)


* modeling :math:`B`: :math:`\text{X-FEM}\mathrm{2D}`, crack in the middle of the elements


* modeling :math:`C`: :math:`\text{X-FEM}\mathrm{3D}`, crack in the middle of the elements
