Summary of results

Modeling PLAN_DIAG gives fairly satisfactory results. Although the mesh has few elements in the thickness, the difference in temperatures remains less than 3.2%.

Although the thermal shock is sudden, the diagonalization of the mass matrix makes it possible to obtain a temperature solution that does not oscillate during the transient.
