Summary:

The objective of this test is to validate the consideration of the 2D_ POU (AFFE_CHAR_MECA) connection with connection surfaces different from 1 and also for the AXIS elements. The principle of this test is to compare the effect of a load applied to a discrete element connected to the 2D solid model by the 2D_ POU link to the equivalent load applied directly to the 2D solid model. For the three models, the FX, FY and MZ components of load FORCE_NODALE are applied in turn to the unconnected node of the discrete element.

  • Modeling A: Modeling C_ PLAN with connection of an area of 0.5.

  • Modeling B: Modeling AXIS with a connection of an area of 0.5 located on a vertical edge.

  • C modeling: Modeling AXIS with the connection of a surface of 5 located on a horizontal edge.
