.. _V3.04.319: **v3.04.319** SSLV319 - Plane propagation of a semi-elliptical crack ======================================================================= **Summary:** The purpose of this test is to validate the plane propagation of a crack by observing the displacement of the crack bottom during propagation. This test involves a pavement with a flat semi-elliptical opening crack, subjected to a tensile force. The crack is represented by the X- FEM method and the propagation simulated using the PROPA_FISS command. We are going to compare the results to an experimental solution. This test contains four models: Modeling A uses the MAILLAGE method of the PROPA_FISS operator. B modeling uses the GEOMETRIQUE method of the PROPA_FISS operator. C modeling uses the GEOMETRIQUE method of the PROPA_FISS operator, with cohesive elements. Operation DETECT_COHESIF is used to determine the advance of the front. The 3D modeling uses the SIMPLEXEde method the PROPA_FISS operator. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A___M_thode_MAILLAGE Mod_lisation_B___M_thode_GEOMETRIQUE Mod_lisation_C___validation_de_DETECT_COHESIF Mod_lisation_D___M_thode_SIMPLEXE Synth_se_des_r_sultats
