Modeling A ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- We use a DKT model. Only a quarter of the tank is modelled. Characteristics of the mesh ---------------------------- The elements are quadrangles. The DKT elements are oriented to have their outgoing normal. Other calculation parameters --------------------------- The acceleration due to gravity is :math:`9.81m/{s}^{2}`. The distance between the axis of the steels and the surface of an element (coating) is :math:`0.04m`. The equivalence coefficient is :math:`15.0`. The maximum allowable stress of steel is :math:`2.8{10}^{8}\mathit{Pa}`. The maximum allowable stress of concrete is :math:`3.5{10}^{7}\mathrm{Pa}`. The calculation is carried out in the Service Limit State (ELS).
