**v3.03.130** SSLS130 - Structural zoom: perforated plate subjected to a normal force on one edge

**Summary:**

This test represents the static calculation of a free embedded perforated plate flexed by a normal force applied to its free edge.

This is an application of the so-called "structural zoom" method which makes it possible to improve the quality of a result obtained on a mesh that is too coarse or insufficiently detailed. The particularity of the method lies in the fact that the solution is calculated on a mesh located around the area of interest (patch), by applying the displacements (or forces) from the initial model as a load on the contour of the patch.

In this test, the solutions obtained on a fine mesh and a coarse mesh after using the structural zoom are compared.
