.. _V3.02.326: **v3.02.326** FORMA01 - Practical work from the "Initiation" training course: modeling a perforated plate in linear elasticity and mesh adaptation ==== **Summary:** This 2D test in almost static plane stresses allows you to get started with the Salome-Meca platform on a simple case in linear elasticity. It is a homogeneous rectangular plate, with holes in the center, which is subjected to traction at its ends. First (modeling A), we indicate how to build the geometry then the mesh and how to put the study into data. In a second step (B and C modeling), the mesh will be adapted. Finally (D modeling), an alternative solution using the X- FEM method is presented.
