.. _V3.02.321: **v3.02.321** SSLP321 - Propagation of an X- FEM crack in a 3-point flexure plate =========================================================================================== **Summary** The purpose of this test is to validate the crack propagation path with :math:`\text{X-FEM}` in :math:`\mathrm{2D}`, in the context of linear elasticity. This test involves a rectangular plate with an through crack, and subjected to 3-point bending as in the article by Mariani and Perego [:ref:`1 <1>`]. Five methods for managing the propagation of a :math:`\text{X-FEM}` crack are available. Each of them is the subject of modeling. * modeling :math:`A`: mesh method * modeling :math:`B`: simplex method * modeling :math:`C`: upwind method * modeling :math:`D`: geometric method Comparisons are made with the values given by the mesh method. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Mod_lisation_C Mod_lisation_D Synth_ses_des_r_sultats
