Characteristics of modeling

Modeling B uses a behavior model for the linear dam, the calculation being performed using the operator MECA_STATIQUE. A mesh and sliding circle are tested on the upstream facing (symmetric to modeling A). The safety factor is evaluated using a sufficiently refined 2D auxiliary mesh of the sliding circle.


Tested sizes and results
------------------------------

We test the value of the static global safety factor estimated by the Newmark method, by comparing it to the result of the *Enhanced Limit Equilibrium (ELE) method .*
