Characteristics of modeling

Modeling A uses a behavior model for the linear dam, the calculation being performed using the operator MECA_STATIQUE. The safety factor assessment is carried out:


* from a sufficiently refined 2D auxiliary mesh of the sliding circle.


* from a sliding circle mesh constructed directly by the macro command


Tested sizes and results
------------------------------

We test the value of the static global safety factor estimated by the Newmark method, by comparing it to the result of the *Enhanced Limit Equilibrium (ELE) method .*
