.. _V3.02.111: **v3.02.111** FORMA05 - Practical work from the "Fracture Mechanics" training course: Cracked plate in traction (SENT) ==== **Summary:** This test :math:`\mathrm{2D}` (plane deformations) models in a semi-static manner a cracked plate put into tension (pure I mode). This is a modeling of test piece SENT (Single Edge Notched Specimen in Tension). This test is used in "Fracture Mechanics" training because of the speed of the execution time and the existence of an analytical solution. It allows you to become familiar with post-treatments in the mechanics of linear elastic rupture (CALC_G, and POST_K1_K2_K3) for modeling FEM and X-FEM. The educational objectives are to illustrate the influence of the mesh (mesh with linear/quadratic/quadratic elements + Barsoum) as well as to illustrate the independence at the integration crowns for the G-theta method. This test case includes 4 models: * Modeling A: FEM, whole plate (without symmetry condition), free mesh * B modeling: FEM, (half-) plate with symmetry condition, free mesh * C modeling: X- FEM, whole plate (without symmetry condition), mesh set * D modeling: FEM, whole plate (without symmetry condition), radiant mesh Only modeling A was the subject of a practical session as part of the training. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A___FEM__plaque_enti_re__sans_condition_de_sym_trie___maillage_libre Mod_lisation_B___FEM___demi-_plaque_avec_condition_de_sym_trie__maillage_libre Mod_lisation_C___X-FEM__plaque_enti_re__sans_condition_de_sym_trie___maillage_r_gl_ Mod_lisation_D___FEM__plaque_enti_re__maillage_rayonnant Synth_se
