4. Summary of results

The results obtained confirm that elements POU_D_E with variable cross sections have a good degree of reliability.

For the circular section, the results are all accurate at the nodes (we find the properties of the element with a constant section) except for the distributed forces where the effect of the fineness of discretization is felt.

For a rectangular section and a general section, it is necessary to discretize finely to have a correct solution.
