A move is imposed at the other end: knots \(\mathrm{NA},\mathrm{NB},\mathrm{NC},\mathrm{ND}\).
An effort can be imposed on the middle node: knots \(\mathit{IA},\mathit{IB},\mathit{IC},\mathit{ID}\).
