For each node in the mesh, coordinate \(X\) is equal to coordinate \(Y\), which is itself equal to coordinate \(Z\). The staircase function is designed in such a way that its value is:

\(3\) on E7 and E8 meshes
There is no pre-deformation imposed on the other meshes: E3, E6, E9 and E10.
In the reference calculation, the following pre-deformation values are therefore assigned:
