**Summary:**

The static linear elasticity test is used to validate straight beam elements POU_D_T and BARRE.

This test case concerns a set of beams and bars subjected to distributed loading. The lower membrane bar is pre-tensioned by a device allowing it to be extended.

The axial force, moment of the beams and displacements are tested by comparing simulation results with the reference solution AFNOR (ref. [:ref:`1 <1>`]).
