**Summary:**

The static linear elasticity test is used to validate straight beam elements POU_D_T.

This test case concerns embedded beams connected by a non-deformable element.

The support reactions and bending moments as well as the deflection are tested by comparing simulation results with the reference solution AFNOR (ref. [:ref:`1 <1>`]) as well as those obtained with the Pipestress software.
