.. _V2.06.103: **v2.06.103** SHLL103 — Harmonic response of a rotor with two disks and two non-symmetric bearings, subject to the gyroscopic effect ====================================================================================================================================== **Summary:** This test makes it possible to validate the calculation of the harmonic response of a system of rotating shafts taking into account the gyroscopic effect and the bearings with non-symmetric characteristics. In this test, we have a rotor model with two disks, supported by two hydrodynamic bearings, whose linearized stiffness and damping matrices are non-symmetric. This example and the corresponding reference results are taken from the qualification manual for ROTORINSA, [:ref:`bib2 `], a finite element calculation software designed to predict the dynamic behavior of rotors under bending.
