Summary of results ====================== The comparison between the inverse transfer functions of the impedances obtained by the chaining between *Code_Aster* and MISS3D and those obtained by a calculation on the physical basis of a model, exclusively by *Code_Aster*, of the volume of homogeneous soil surrounding the foundation, gives fairly significant differences of 18% on average and up to 35%. This is explained by the following points in the Code_Aster calculation alone: * an independence in frequency in the formulation of the absorbent elements assigned to the boundaries of the volume representing the condition of infinite medium. * a modelled soil volume that is not large enough * a ground mesh that is not sufficiently fine On the other hand, the comparison of the chaining calculation with the results of the bibliographic reference is good. The differences are on average around 2% with the low value at 0.7% and the highest value at 7%.
