Summary:

This test represents a dynamic modal analysis calculation of a thick square plate that is simply supported. This test makes it possible to validate:

• finite element models DST, DKT, COQUE_3D with meshes QUAD4 and TRIA3, QUAD8 and TRIA6, and 3D with meshes HEXA20,

• taking into account transverse shear stiffness.

The frequencies and the modes obtained are compared to a reference solution, proposed by NAFEMS, obtained with a finite element calculation of the volume type.
