v2.03.300 SDLS300 - Air cooler subject to ground excitation#

Summary:

The field of application of this test is seismic analysis. The structure studied is an air-cooler subjected to a driving excitation of the foundation soil (spectrum).

The displacements are calculated along a meridian in plane \(\mathit{xOz}\).

The objective is to test axial, tangential and normal displacements for spectral modal recombinations \(\mathrm{CQC}\) and \(\mathrm{SRSS}\), for 3D shell elements.

The reference movements come from results obtained by several calculation codes.

First of all, we are interested in calculating the natural frequencies of this system. The reference values are obtained on a Fourier model with the structural calculation software SAMCEF.
