2. Benchmark solution

2.1. Calculation method

It is a reference test in the literature to validate the modal analysis of a stratified plate. The literature provides reference results based on experimental data and the results of other codes such as Nastran3D.

2.2. Reference quantities and results

The natural frequency solution obtained by code_aster is compared in the case where there is no delamination.

2.3. Uncertainties about the solution

In the case where the delamination of the layers does not take place, the reference results vary between [79,2; 82,1] Hz. So we want to obtain the first natural frequency in this range.
