.. _V2.03.100: **v2.03.100** SDLS100 - Study of meshes on a thin square plate ======================================================================= **Summary:** This three-dimensional problem consists in looking for the vibration frequencies of a mechanical structure composed of a thin square plate embedded on one side. The influence of mesh distortion on the results is studied. This Structural Mechanics test corresponds to a dynamic analysis of a surface model with linear behavior. It includes three models. This problem makes it possible to test the plate element DKT in transverse flexure and the calculation of natural frequencies, either by the Lanczos method or by the Bathe and Wilson method. The first modeling consists in finely and regularly meshing the plate with triangles. For the second model, the mesh is coarser while for the third, it is coarse and distorted. The first modeling is used as reference results. The results obtained are in good agreement with each other and with those of a NAFEMS sheet. The mesh distortion effect does not appear on the first vibration frequencies. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Mod_lisation_C Synth_se_des_r_sultats
