Summary:
This three-dimensional problem consists in looking for the vibration frequencies of a mechanical structure composed of a parallelepipedic plate (not rectangular), embedded on one side only. This structural mechanics test corresponds to a dynamic analysis of a surface model with linear behavior. It includes a single model.
This problem makes it possible to test plate element DKT and the calculation of vibration frequencies by the Lanczos method.
The results obtained on the first two natural frequencies are in good agreement with those of guide VPCS.
