4. Summary of results

Good agreement with the reference solution (less than \(\text{1. \%}\) error on all modes except on the first one where the error is \(\text{2.2 \%}\)).

This test could not be carried out with a beam element because the calculation of the centrifugal stiffness matrix is not available for this type of element. Likewise, as it is not available for discrete elements, we were not able to use a 3D-beam connection. In order to overcome this problem, all the nodes on the surface containing point \(A\) have been linked by a solid connection.
