**v2.02.311** SDLL311 - Transient dynamic response of a girder under tension under imposed displacement

**Summary:**

This test problem corresponds to a linear transient analysis of a bar subjected to tension by applying an imposed displacement at one end, the other end being embedded. The displacement as a function of time is of the "Heaviside" type imposed from the initial moment.

The results obtained in the middle of the beam for a modeling with four elements are compared to the analytical solution of the problem discretized by four elements by not taking into account the instantaneous peaks of speed and acceleration at the initial moment at the level of the end where the displacement is imposed.
