9. Summary of results#

The results obtained depend on the information measured and on the projection base chosen for the expansion of the measurement at the interface degrees of freedom. Here, we exploited the first five natural modes identified and the expansion base chosen being static responses. The results obtained are correct.

The relative uncertainties on the first two natural frequencies obtained by the structural modification technique used are less than \(\text{1 \%}\) of the solution obtained by direct calculation.

The displacement fields at the interfaces of the coupled model and the field at the interfaces obtained by static expansion of the fields at the measurement points obtained on the modified structure are very similar. The associated MAC matrix is very close to the identity matrix. Criterion IERI is also close to 0 (C and D models).
