.. _V2.02.117: **v2.02.117** SDLL117 - Beam subjected to multiple zones of fluid-elastic and random transverse excitations ======================================================================================================================= **Summary** This validation case is intended to calculate by frequency method (resorption of software FLUSTRU) the linear vibratory response of a beam-type tubular structure subjected to external transverse flow. The effects of fluid-elastic coupling (variation in the frequency and damping of the structure) are calculated as a function of the flow speed, then the vibratory response of the beam to turbulent fluid excitation. The fluid excitation is distributed over several zones and may be of an identical or different nature in each of these areas. Thus, this test case compares the results obtained with a single excitation zone (the tube is subjected to fluid excitation distributed over its entire length), and with two excitation zones (the tube is subjected to two fluid excitations of the same nature, distributed over each half of the tube). Comparisons are made for different speed profiles and different fluid-elastic coefficients. For this test case, strictly speaking, there is no reference solution. The results obtained with two fluid excitation zones are compared with the results obtained with a single excitation zone. The objective of the test case is to check the non-regression of the data structures. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Synth_se_des_r_sultats
