.. _V2.01.400: **v2.01.400** SDLD400 — Star mass-spring system ==================================================== **Summary:** This test consists in calculating the natural frequencies of a mass-spring star system. The reference solution is analytical. The advantage of testing is to verify the methods available in modal analysis, in the presence of two discrete elements of translation and rotation: * discrete elements DIS_TR on a node (modeling A); * discrete elements DIS_TR on a segment (B modeling). In this test, the structure is also rotated by 30° in order to validate the entry of data in a local coordinate system (keyword ORIENTATION in AFFE_CARA_ELEM).
