**Summary:**

The problem under consideration is a dynamic system with 2 degrees of freedom, often used in the literature to illustrate the concept of a steep problem.

These are 3 unit masses connected by springs of very different stiffness (several orders of magnitude), one end of which is excited by a sinusoidal displacement.

The test brings together several models, on a physical basis and on a modal basis with different temporal integration schemes.
