Summary

This test case makes it possible to validate the elementary matrix of a discrete element. We calculate the natural frequency of an oscillator at one degree of freedom (mass—spring system), the transient response due to sinusoidal excitation and the forced response due to harmonic excitation.

The reference results are obtained analytically.
