v1.01.341 ZZZZ341 - Validation of the dependent pressure as a function of space#

Summary:

This test validates the application of a follower pressure whose intensity is a function of the updated space variables (\(\mathit{XF}\), \(\mathit{YF}\), \(\mathit{ZF}\)) in 2D and 3D:

  • A cube, whose Poisson’s ratio is zero, is initially put into uniform compression according to \(Y\) by a subsequent pressure depending on space;

  • Then a rigid rotation is applied to the cubed around one of its edges. The pressure load multiplier function is zero at this moment, so the cube is released.

  • Finally, at the last moment of calculation, the follower pressure load is applied again. This loading is a function of space so that the new position of the cube means that the pressure applied is now as follows \(X\).

The support reaction is recorded at the level of the embedded face. The solution is analytical.

Note the particularity of the treatment of the load with the following pressure as a function of space:

  • at first, the geometry is updated to take into account the change in normal

in a second step, the intensity of the pressure is calculated**from the updated space variables* (parameters \(\mathit{XF}\), \(\mathit{YF}\), \(\mathit{ZF}\) in DEFI_FONCTION)

This test includes three models:

  • modeling A: D_ PLAN;

  • B modeling: 3D;

  • C modeling: D_ PLAN with symmetrization option SYME =” OUI “.

This documentation is deliberately brief.
