Reference issues ====================== Geometry for A and B models --------------------------------------- The 2D structure is a square with side :math:`\mathrm{1m}`, with a crack at corner :math:`0.69°` whose bottom is at coordinate :math:`(0.5,0.5)`. This geometry has an axis of symmetry in :math:`y\mathrm{=}0.5`. For modeling B, only the part located under this axis is considered. .. image:: images/100002010000021E000001C13BFB9CE2EF40BA23.png :width: 3.6374in :height: 2.9035in .. _RefImage_100002010000021E000001C13BFB9CE2EF40BA23.png: 1 m 1 m α = 0.69° Geometry for C and D models --------------------------------------- The structure studied in 3D is a :math:`1\mathrm{\times }1\mathrm{\times }0.3m` tile with a flat crack at mid-height whose lips are separated by an angle of :math:`0.69°`. This geometry includes a plane of symmetry :math:`\mathit{Oxz}` in :math:`y\mathrm{=}0.5`. For modeling D, only the part located under this plane is considered. .. image:: images/100002010000020200000226B7498F84008AECE7.png :width: 3.1791in :height: 3.3008in .. _RefImage_100002010000020200000226B7498F84008AECE7.png: 1 m 1 m α = 0.69° 0.3 m Tests and references -------------------- The tests focus on the values of the components of normal vectors and vectors of direction of propagation at the nodes of the crack bottom. The references are analytical. In the result tables, the components of the normal vector are (VNORX, VNORY, VNORZ) and those of the direction of propagation vector are (VDIRX, VDIRY, VDIRZ).
