2.1. Calculation method

The standard execution of the test is done with \(\alpha \mathrm{=}0°\), in pure compression.

So the solution is trivial: the equivalent Von Mises stress is equal to \(p\).

2.2. Reference quantities and results

The value of the Von Mises stress is tested on average on the upper line of the plate. The value is slightly interfered with by the constraints induced during embedding.
