1. But#

The purpose of this command is to prepare the data, run the Miss3D software, and then post-process the results of this one to produce usable concepts in*Code_Aster*.

According to the arguments at the input of the command, we obtain the harmonic and temporal response of the structure, or of the changes in movements, speeds, accelerations in certain places. Or even concepts of transient nodal seismic force load.

This operator can also be used in conjunction with DYNA_NON_LINE for non-linear transient calculations, using the LaPlace-Time method (cf. test case MISS03 and its associated documentation [V1.10.122]).

Tips for implementing soil-structure interaction calculations are provided in [U2.06.07] and [U2.06.05]. MISS3D calculations on big models (or with a lot of frequencies) can be time consuming and memory intensive. Fortunately, these can be accelerated by activating one or two levels of parallelism (cf. [U2.06.07] [U2.08.06]).
