4. Use

At the level of the astk user environment, the so-called « universal » file IDEAS must be of the type .msup or.unv.

The document [U3.03.01] describes the principles of converting the subfiles (data sets) of the IDEAS file into Aster subfiles and the rules for developing the names of nodes, meshes, node groups and product mesh groups, as well as the sense of connectivity of the meshes.

If, in the environment of use, the file IDEAS has been associated with the logical unit 19 (the default value for the .unv/.msup file type file), the Aster mesh concept is created as follows:
