Complete a result by calculating a nodal field corresponding to the normal interface constraints on a defined area. The name of the product field is PRES_NOEU on the quantity PRES_Ravec the component name PRES.
This field is calculated from the Cauchy stress tensor and from the field of normals to the surface under consideration. The calculated stress field then corresponds to:
(1.1)#\[ p= (\ mathrm {\ sigma}\ mathrm {.} n)\ mathrm {.} n\]
where \(n\) is the normal to the surface under consideration and \(\sigma\) is the Cauchy stress tensor. This field can be useful to access the stress state at the interface in various mechanical problems (contact, fracture mechanics, etc.).
