Extrapolate experimental measurements on a numerical model in dynamics.

Experimental data can be displacements, velocities, accelerations, deformations, or stresses. They are defined as a function of time or frequency, or in the form of a list.

It involves calculating the generalized coordinates of the measurement relating to an expansion base defined on the numerical model. This expansion base (deformations, stresses or deformations) is calculated beforehand according to a mode_meca concept. The base vectors are then restricted to the measured degrees of freedom. The spatial association between the measurement points and the nodes of the digital mesh can be carried out manually and/or automatically. The calculation of the generalized coordinates is carried out by solving a minimization problem of the least squares type, possibly regularized according to the Tikhonov method.

Is applicable to any type of model (1D, 2D and 3D).

Produces a tran_gene, harm_gene, or mode_gene data structure.
