.. _U4.72.05: **u4.72.05** Operator PROJ_CHAMP ================================= The aim of the operator is to project the fields of a result data structure onto another mesh. This command can be used, for example, to transfer to a "mechanical" mesh, the result of a thermal calculation carried out on a different "thermal" mesh. It is also possible to "continue" a thermal (or mechanical) calculation on another mesh (more or less refined). The command also makes it possible to define "zones" (geometric) that are projected onto each other, which makes it possible to solve the problem of a desired discontinuity of the projected field (for example along the lips of a crack). For reasons of performance CPU, we can first calculate the geometric pairing of the two meshes and store the data structure produced in a concept that can be reused later to make field projections. It is possible to project an "isolated" field or a set of fields from a SD_RESULTAT. Produces a SD_RESULTAT data structure or an "isolated" field or a CORRESP_2_MAILLA data structure. .. toctree:: :hidden: self sommaire
