Create a field of type cham_no, map, or cham_elem. You can create a field

  • by assigning values to knots or meshes,

  • by assembling (and/or combining) pieces of existing fields,

  • by evaluating the functions of a field of functions to make it a field of reals,

  • by modifying the geometric representation of a field (node passage \(\iff\) Gauss points for example),

  • by extracting a field from a SD_RESULTAT data structure (evol_ther, evol_noli, mode_meca,…).

  • based on the values contained in a TABLE data structure,

You can also use this command to combine several fields linearly, but you can make more « complicated » combinations: multiplication of fields…

Produces a data structure such as cham_no or map or cham_elem

Note: The command is not re-entering except for operations ASSEet COMB.

In this case, the CHAM_GDest keyword is mandatory.
