3. General settings

General parameters describe the model, material field, and characteristics elementary (in particular for structural elements).

MODELE is the name of the model whose elements are the subject of mechanical calculation. The structure of data comes from the [U4.41.01] command. It is still mandatory.

CHAM_MATER is the name of the material field that is assigned on the model. The structure of data comes from the [U4.43.01] command. All the main stitches of model must be associated with a material.

CARA_ELEM is the name of the characteristics of shell, beam, pipe, pipe, bar, cable, and discrete elements affected on the model. The data structure comes from the command [U4.42.01]. Obviously, this keyword is optional: if the model does not contains no such elements, it is not useful; on the other hand, if the model contains such elements elements, it is mandatory.
