Purpose
====

Solving a linear static mechanics problem.

This operator allows you to solve either:


*   a linear static mechanical problem with the superposition of different boundary conditions and different loads,


*   a thermo-mechanical analysis for a given list of moments.


*   in this case the mechanical characteristics of the materials may depend on the temperature: the concept of the cham_mater type must then be defined on the basis of functions (cf. operator DEFI_MATERIAU [:external:ref:`U4.43.01 <U4.43.01>`] operand ELAS_FO),


*   the expansion load can only be determined if the expansion coefficient and the reference temperature have been defined (see operators DEFI_MATERIAU [:external:ref:`U4.43.01 <U4.43.01>`] and AFFE_MATERIAU [:external:ref:`U4.43.03 <U4.43.03>`]).

The concept produced by this operator is of the evol_elas type containing one or more displacement fields at the various times of calculation.
