For the AFFE_CHAR_THER operator, the values assigned do not depend on any parameters and are defined by real values.

For operator AFFE_CHAR_THER_F, the values are functions of one or more parameters to be chosen within the set (INST, X, Y, Z). For loads used in non-linear thermics, the functions depend only on temperature (TEMP) and must be tabulated. Additionally, for some loads (for example SOURCE), values may depend on command variables.

These functions must first be defined by calling one of the operators:
