**u4.01.05** What's new and changed in version 9
========================================================

**Summary:**

The purpose of this document is to offer a global vision of the syntax changes and new possibilities of *Code_Aster* commands that occurred during the development of version 9, i.e. since version 8.4.

Index B in this document thus shows the changes introduced since **version 9.1** in June 2007 and valid for **version 9.2** in December 2007.

Paragraph 2 treats syntactic changes that occurred between version 8.4 (December 2006) and version 9.1 (June 2007).

For more details, consult the command documentation and the history file of the corresponding sub-version (e.g.: [:ref:`9.1.7 <9.1.7>`], section *Support/Histor* of the site www.code-aster.org).
