**u4.01.03** What's new and changed in version 7

**Summary:**

The purpose of this document is to offer a global vision of the syntax changes and new possibilities of *Code_Aster* commands that have occurred between each version since version 7.0.

The A index in this document thus shows the changes introduced since **version 7.3** in April 2004 and valid for the **version 7.4** in December 2004.

For more details, consult the command documentation and the history file of the corresponding sub-version (e.g.: [:ref:`7.3.12 <7.3.12>`], *Development* section of the www.code-aster.org site).
