We state the functionality fulfilled by the order (actions performed). The types of concepts expected as input and of the product concept are also specified, as well as the particularities of the order.

Purpose:

Calculate the quasistatic mechanical evolution of a nonlinear structure.

Nonlinearity is linked either to the behavior of the material (for example plastic) or to the geometry (for example in large displacements). For details on the resolution method used, refer to the reference documentation [R5.03.01].

Evolution can be studied in several successive studies (reentering concept), either continuously (the last moment calculated is the initial moment of the next calculation), or again starting from an earlier moment.

If the time required to perform the calculation is not sufficient, the program stops, but the results already calculated are saved if a database has been defined in the user’s study profile. Produces an evol_noli data structure.
