Summary:

This document describes for 3D and 3D_ DIAG thermal models:

• the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling,

• the related support meshes,

• the materials and loads supported,

• non-linear possibilities,

• test cases implementing models

3D modeling (phenomenon THERMIQUE) corresponds to finite elements whose support meshes are solid.

3D_ DIAG modeling covers the same possibilities as 3D and only differs from it for a thermal calculation where the thermal mass matrix is then diagonalized before resolution.
