u3.14.01 Mechanical 3D and 3D_SI models#

Summary:

This document describes for 3D and 3D_SI mechanical models:

  • the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling,

  • the related support meshes,

  • the loads supported,

  • non-linear possibilities,

  • test cases implementing modeling.

3D and 3D_SI models (phenomenon MECANIQUE) correspond to finite elements whose support meshes are volume.

The suffix _SI stands for Sub-Integrated: the integration of terms relating to the laws of behavior is done in a reduced way (Gauss point scheme of lower order than full integration modeling).
