u3.13.07 Modelings AXIS_INCO_UPG, D_ PLAN_INCO_UPG#

Summary:

This document describes for models AXIS_INCO_UPG, D_ PLAN_INCO_UPG:

  • the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling,

  • the related support meshes,

  • the loads supported,

  • non-linear possibilities,

  • test cases implementing the models.

This modeling is based on finite elements adapted to the treatment of almost incompressible problems. It is essential for carrying out limit analysis calculations with the Norton-Hoff law and is also useful for studies with strong plastic deformations for which the classical formulation in displacement proves to be insufficient (stress oscillation). The formulation used is a formulation with 3 fields: displacement-pressure-swelling [R6.03.05], usable with all behaviors written in incremental form. The models are supported by level 2 plane meshes (TRIA6 and QUAD8).
