3. Supported loads

The mechanical loads available are as follows:

• “FORCE_ARETE”

Allows you to apply linear forces to a solid element edge.

• “FORCE_COQUE”

Allows surface forces to be applied.

• “PESANTEUR”

Allows you to apply a loading type of gravity.

• “PRES_REP”

Allows pressure to be applied to a continuous medium domain.

• “ROTATION”

Allows you to define the rotation speed and the rotation vector.

The application of thermal expansion loading is performed by defining the keyword factor AFFE_VARC under AFFE_MATERIAU [U4.43.03].
